Match Summary

Not much joy here. Fielding a weak team with only four regular first teamers, being a player short and heavily outgraded on most of the boards, Barnsley A stood little chance of gaining the point needed to ensure first division chess next season. Maybe if we had our best team we could have salvaged something against Nomads A's bottom boards.

Needless to say our fixture next week against Nomads B is a 'no-lose' match if Nomads B win against University A this week. Hopefully we will have a much stronger side in action.
